The Casper Ghosts are the Pioneer League (Advanced-Rookie) Affiliate of the Colorado Rockies. They have played in Casper since 2000, and are the only Professional Minor League Baseball Team in the state of Wyoming. The team has produced some of the stars of the Colorado Rockies, as five former Casper players were on the 2007 World Series Roster for the National League Champion Colorado Rockies. They play 76 games from June to September, with 38 home games at scenic Mike Lansing Field in Casper, Wyoming. This 2,500-seat gem was featured in Baseball America's 2006 Most Beautiful Ballparks Calendar, and continues to average over 50,000 fans a year through the gates. Directions: Mike Lansing Field is located at the Crossroads Park on North Poplar St. Take the Poplar St. Exit off of Interstate 25, turn right (if Northbound) or left (if Southbound). Go two blocks North. Crossroads Park and Mike Lansing Field will be on your right.
