In this town of Midwest the first lighted foodball game was played in 1925. Midwest was also named after the Midwest Oil Company. The golf course is dotted with oil pumps. the gas-recovery plant permeates the town with the smell of sulfur. The Salt Creek Museum is worth a peek, they have every thing from historic photos, bed pans, high-school lockers, dinosaur eggs, and a fun collection of memorabilia.
Hiding six miles from the nearest "road" (a barely-discernable dirt track narrow enough to make spelunkers claustrophobic), I'm thinking the fish I am in search of aren't as stupid as I've been told.
